I have just watched the repeat of Top Gear showing the PLP50. I am a 45yr old disabled guy who cannot drive but perfectly uses a mobility scooter to gain considerable independence.
However, having seen the PLP50, I do not believe it would be beyond the realms of possibilities to develop/adapt such a vehicle to enable me to drive such a vehicle for me (based on controls I already use on my mobility scooter).
This would greatly enhance my independence as well as partly fulfilling my long-standing desire to drive a car.
I challenge any enthusiiastic engineer to work with me to develop such a vehicle!!
I’m not sure if my email address can be published but it is mailmos98@aol.com
